Prof. Boker is a professor in Anesthesia and Critical care and is the Medical Director at King Abdulaziz University Hospital and the Director of Standardized patient unit, Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, FOM, at King Abdulaziz University

He is the Past-Chairman of the Founding Committee and the Past-President and Chairman Board of Directors Saudi Society of Simulation Society in Healthcare. He is a Member of the International Advisory Group, SESMAM Journal Advances in Simulation. He received several awards in the field of simulation: Regional Award for Excellence in Simulation, at 3rd UAE Clinical Simulation Conference, 2nd Regional SESAM, Society of European Simulation Applied to Medicine (2016) and ASPIRE award from AMEE for Excellence in Education -simulation category (2017).

He established the King Abdulaziz University Clinical Skills and Simulation Center, which received international recognition with multiple accreditations and awards. Prof. Boker has been honored with the prestigious "International Residency Educator of the Year" award by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada for his contributions to postgraduate medical education. He has also led significant curriculum reforms for anesthesia and critical care training across Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries.
