Dr. Baraa Tayeb is an Associate Professor in Anesthesiology and Palliative Care and the Director of Clinical Skills and Simulation Center at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). He has a strong background in simulation in healthcare, holding multiple certifications including Certified HealthCare Simulation Educator and Certified HealthCare Simulation Educator-Advanced from the Society of Healthcare Simulation (USA). Dr. Tayeb is the Head of the Scientific Committee and acting Head of membership committee for the Saudi Society of Healthcare Simulation (SSSH). He is also a consultant trainer in simulation with the Saudi Commission for Healthcare Specialty and has contributed to the field by publishing research on simulation-based education, co-authoring a paper on simulation training to improve communication skills, researching simulation fellowship requirements and presenting on simulation curriculum tools. He is a member of the Society of Simulation in Europe (SESAM).
